Anyone wishing to apply for, or nominate a program, project, product, plan or partnership for a 2017 Governor's Environmental and Economic Leadership Award, must submit an application through this portal.

2017 Application Requirements:

  • Completed application
  • 2 letters of recommendation
  • 5 high-resolution images of program, project, product, plan or partnership
  • Supporting materials (optional)

Please note that you must upload the letters of recommendation, photos and any supplemental material during the last step of the application before hitting the submit button.

For the letters of recommendation, the references must be current, knowledgeable and familiar with the program, project, product, plan or partnership specific to the 2017 Governor's Environmental and Economic Leadership Award.  The endorsements should not be from anyone directly involved with the program, project, product, plan or partnership submitting an application (e.g. program managers, project leads, etc). Examples of appropriate endorsements include: elected officials, non-profit or community organizations, industry experts, etc.

The deadline to submit a completed application is Friday, August 25, 2017.
